Energy Efficient Street Lighting Project

Street Lighting Project

Norwood is embarking on a project to install new energy efficient street lighting to benefit our borough. We have contracted with Energy Systems Group. In the near future you may notice a pilot program in the works, but the actual construction should start in May or June. We are coordinating with Norwood Parks and Recreation Board and Norwood Athletic Club to avoid scheduling conflicts with various events throughout the borough. When the time comes, the Code Red phone call system will be used to alert the various neighborhoods, so you’ll know when to move cars and make other logistical arrangements. We thank you in advance for your patience, and look forward to this energy-saving project.
